Designed and authorized by Lars, this detailed MOC recreates the SMS Bayern, the lead ship of Germany’s Bayern-class dreadnought battleships. The model features eight massive guns mounted across four turrets—two forward and two aft—capturing the raw power and perfect symmetry of the original warship. Built from 1,706 premium bricks, each piece is precisely molded and fits tightly to form a durable, seamless structure with smooth surfaces and no rough edges. A QR code manual provides step-by-step, cloud-based instructions with clear visuals for a smooth and enjoyable building experience, even in complex sections. Once completed, the model stands as a striking naval display piece, ideal for desks, shelves, or dioramas, making it a centerpiece for any military or historical collection. Perfect for WWII and naval enthusiasts, this set combines craftsmanship and storytelling, offering both educational and creative value. Suitable for ages 16+, it makes a meaningful gift for collectors and history fans. The real SMS Bayern, launched in 1915, saw limited service before being scuttled at Scapa Flow in 1919—its legacy now preserved through this authentic and finely detailed model.
