Designed and authorized by Otto, this building block set is inspired by the American Boeing E-3D Sentry AWACS aircraft. It faithfully recreates the aircraft’s most iconic feature—the large radome mounted above the fuselage. Inside the real E-3, this dome houses a powerful radar antenna system capable of detecting low-altitude targets over 320 km away, and medium- to high-altitude targets at even greater distances. Its advanced Identification Friend or Foe subsystem features look-down capability and strong resistance to ground clutter—capabilities that set it apart from many other radar systems. With a unit price of up to $270 million, the E-3 is renowned for its extremely sophisticated electronic equipment. Built from 2,663 premium, precisely molded bricks, each piece fits tightly with smooth surfaces and no rough edges for a reliable and enjoyable building experience.
